Our prestigious oil & gas operating client have a fantastic new opportunity for Senior Subsea Supervisors to work with them on a long-term Temporary Agency Worker contract role in the UK. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:-
Applicants must have a robust and proven track record working in the Oil & Gas Energy sector directly at Operator level.
This role will initially be based onshore to assist in planning and support of upcoming SIT work scopes and equipment readiness, and will then transition into a 3/3 rotational offshore supervisory role once subsea P&A operations commence.
Planning and participation in FAT & SIT operations and interface testing onshore.
Act as the offshore focal point for subsea service providers, reviewing POA's/work instructions for planned P&A activities.
Work closely with the Subsea Engineers, Subsea Team Lead, Wells Superintendent, Well Engineers and other key team members to plan, develop and execute the MODU and LWIV P&A campaign.
Supervises offshore subsea operations, working closely with the key contract subsea personnel, rig contractor personnel and DSV.
Applications are invited from degree-qualified candidates in a relevant engineering discipline, however those with extensive experience will be considered by the client.
The successful incumbent will have a robust and proven track record in wellhead / tree engineering / operations and site supervision.
Applicants must have experience of supervising MODU and LWIV offshore subsea drilling, completion, intervention and abandonment operations.
Candidates will have strong technical / operational knowledge in the wells subsea area gained from demonstrable extensive experience of vertical and horizontal xmas tree (XT) systems, associated tooling and completion / workover (C/WO) riser systems.
Candidates will have experience of maintaining, inspecting, preparing, interface checking and accepting subsea equipment.
This role will require offshore travel, therefore all industry competency certification (BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL, MIST and relevant IWCF Level 4) must be valid to consider this role.
