Overview Job Description:

The Systems Analyst will support the Business Improvement Department in optimising business processes, enhancing digital transformation initiatives, and maintaining the integrity of data systems.

Working closely with the existing IT Systems Analyst, the role will involve a blend of technical and

analytical responsibilities, focusing on the development, maintenance, and support of various IT systems and automation solutions. This position will contribute to the company’s overall efficiency and strategic growth by supporting automation, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Automation: Assisting in the development, deployment, and maintenance of automated business processes using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Optimise Business Processes: Analysing existing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and propose automation solutions to improve performance and productivity.
  • System Integration & Development: Supporting the integration of multiple business systems using APIs and other integration tools. Providing hands-on support in customising and maintaining the company’s CRM platform (Salesforce) and other business systems.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Assisting in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, ensuring accurate and actionable data insights for business stakeholders. Contributing to data preparation and transformation efforts using tools like Power Query, SQL, and DAX for various reporting and analytical requirements.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Implementing data validation rules and error handling mechanisms to maintain data quality and consistency across integrated systems.
  • SharePoint Administration: Supporting the management and optimisation of SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows to enhance collaboration and document management within the organisation.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Providing technical support and troubleshooting for various IT Systems and applications, working with end-users to resolve issues and ensure seamless operation. Developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • AI and Emerging Technology Adoption: Providing technical support and troubleshooting of SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows to enhance collaboration and document management within the organisation.
  • Training and End-User Support: Providing training and guidance to end-users on new technologies, systems, and applications to ensure effective adoption and utilisation.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Collaborating with other teams and departments to identify opportunities for business process improvements and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department by providing input on best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) by setting high personal standards, reporting accidents and near misses, actively participating in HSEQ training and communication, and taking accountability for stopping any job that is perceived to be unsafe or not adhering to company standards and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a related technical role.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
  • Skilled in developing data visualisations and reports using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power Query, DAX, Python, and Visual Basic for Data Manipulation and Transformation.
  • Knowledge of API Integration and systems interoperability.
  • Ability to manage and support various CRM systems such as Salesforce to optimise customer relationship management processes.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce development, including Apex and Visualforce.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and proficiency in using PySpark (Python) for data transformation and analytics.
  • Experience with AI tools and implementing custom AI models to drive innovation and support digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of MS Copilot and its application in enhancing business operations.
  • Strong understanding of IoT solutions and their integration with existing business systems for data-driven decision making.
