Main Responsibilities:

• Driving and supporting the strategic development of individual sites and functions within the business through the implementation of digital innovations.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive digitalisation strategy aligned with defined business objectives.
• Managing the delivery of digital projects across all Bilfinger UK business units, ensuring timely and successful execution.
• Developing and owning digital value propositions that align with business objectives and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Supporting with the development and implementation of a business-wide digitalisation strategy to drive digital transformation.
• Identifying opportunities for digital innovation and recommend technologies to enhance operational performance.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and effectively communicate the value propositions of digital innovations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally to ensure successful implementation of digital projects.
• Working across the business to implement more standardisation of solutions.
• Serving as a local point of contact for digitalisation support, consulting with the global Bilfinger digital community.
• Enthusiastically presenting and demonstrating digital solutions to internal stakeholders and customers, showcasing their benefits.
• Providing training and support to internal teams relating to new digital tools and technologies.
• Organising and executing digitally focused training sessions, actively promoting a change mind-set towards digital approaches.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in engineering, operational focused positions or industrial automation and control, and a strong understanding of digital technologies.
• Experience in the development and execution of Digital Transformation Strategy.
• Experience in the execution of Change Management processes and the ability to articulate why this is important to organisational change.
• Demonstrate passion for digital solutions and a clear understanding of the benefits they can bring to business operations.
• Flexible approach to solutions and highly adaptable to change, with the ability to navigate evolving digital landscapes.
• Possess intercultural competency to collaborate effectively in a diverse work environment.
• Commitment and willingness to carry out business trips as needed for project requirements.
• Excellent skills in leadership and presentation, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation.
• Considerable experience in engineering, operations and digital technologies.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial sector.
• Demonstrable understanding and experience of lean management principles for process optimisation.
• Mobile Applications (Low Code Platforms).
• MS SQL Database (On-Prem/Cloud-Based).
• Dashboard Reporting Technology (e.g. PowerBI).
• Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for operational technology applications.
• A Degree or HND/HNC in degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certification in Project Management (Prince2, APM).
