Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time
As the Technical Safety Engineer, you will:
- Be conversant in the following: Hazardous Area designation/classification / Major Accident Hazard / Hazard identification / Safety critical systems/elements in design and operation / Inherent Safety of area/plant/occupancy design / Safety Case / Control of Major Accidents reporting/documentation
- Generate Deliverables, Safety Screening, Terms of Reference, Safety close-out reports, Action Tracking and close-out.
- Have knowledge and understanding of UK Safety Case Regulations 2015 for offshore installations is highly desirable

Location: Aberdeen or Glasgow – hybrid working 3 days in the office with flexibility to work from home for 2 days.
About You
You’ll have experience of:
- Safety Engineering / Safety and Reliability experience (Energy Sector preferred but not essential) in delivery of Engineering projects.
- Production of Safety Engineering studies to support a holistic case for safety at plant/site/installation.
- Safety workshops (HAZOP/HAZID/LOPA/etc). Experience of facilitation of various Safety Reviews desirable.

Qualifications
- BSc or equivalent in relevant Engineering Discipline
- Chartered Engineer status
- Understand the application of Autodesk Design products
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications
- Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS/MIST preferable
