Product Development Engineer

Superior Recruitment Group are working with a fantastic client based in the Glasgow area who are looking for 2x Product Development Engineers to join their expanding team. These are Permanent positions.

Our client is looking to expand their specialist Hydrogen and Integrated equipment Engineering team. Experience of working within Hydrogen is preferred, but not essential.

The Product Development Engineers will be responsible for the provision of day-to-day technical development which will enable the delivery of specific products.

The role will include development, design, coordination and management of engineering expertise and engineering solutions, to deliver success products.

Key responsibilities:

• Leadership of product engineering through the NPD process
• Support the development and use of the NPD process.
• Engage actively to improve product development and technical delivery efficiency.
• Develop and design optimal solutions to technical challenges, working closely with the Engineering team.
• Within technical management, ensure budgets are managed and maintained, specifications are adhered to, quality, safety and environmental standards are maintained.
• Lead engineering optimisation
