Working Pattern - Full Time / Contractor
As the Principal C&I Designer, you will:
- Aid the project in creating schedules, time assignment and resource allocation
- Be responsible for ensuring designs meet project requirements
- Input to project plans
- Identify areas of concern during any project or study
- Produce cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value
- Be able to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
- Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore

About You
You'll have experience of:
- Surveys, both onshore and offshore, to determine information to allow execution of workscopes
- Identification of increase or reduction in scope of work and advising the Lead Engineer / Project Engineer accordingly
- Providing assistance and support to the Lead Designer, deputising as required
- Production of design solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to both PD&MS and the Client
- Checking of department design deliverables
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
- Typical software packages used for Control and Instrumentation engineering design - AUTOCAD (and RastorCAD) / MicroStation / Bluebeam

Qualifications
- HND in relevant engineering discipline / HNC in relevant engineering discipline
- Conversant in most common Microsoft Office applications
- Having offshore BOSIET, MIST and medical are preferred for the role with experience of site surveys
