Superior Recruitment are recruiting for an Applications Pre-Sales Engineer for a global manufacturing client based in Baintree, Essex.

Areas of Responsibility:

Provide back-office contact point to Saft customers, market follow up, leads, prequalify opportunities, actions and reporting. Compare order and sales figures against budget. Establish forecasts.
Battery sizing and technical support to Sales engineers (incl. prescription seminars).
Entire sales process from prospect identification to customer satisfaction.
Order processing and quality claim correction.
Take part of the order review and follow sales numbers.
Entire sales process from prospect identification to customer satisfaction.
Office administration with Braintree District Council (lease / rates / BDC management communication.
HSE requirements at Braintree office, annual planned activities TRIR value etc., liaison with corporate HSE.
Co-ordination of IT support at Braintree office, functionality, internal satisfaction level etc., liaison with corporate IT.

Skills & Experience Required for the role:

Educated to degree/diploma level in a business / engineering discipline or equivalent (qualified by experience also considered).
Minimum 2 years employment within an international business.
Strong specific experience in the industrial battery industry is a desirable preference but not necessarily an essential requirement. Excellent communication skills, a high level of motivation, strong technical aptitude, an ability to balance detailed vs overview requirements and effective time management are crucial for the position.
An autonomous and driven individual, with an energetic approach, open-minded outlook; and ability to work alone and equally within a team is key.
Fluency in French would be advantageous.
