Metrologist / PolyWorks Engineer

Who specialise in delivering metrology solutions to our customers using PolyWorks software, a powerful metrology platform for 3D measurement and analysis. Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable PolyWorks Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be open to traveling and staying overnight at client
locations to deliver PolyWorks training and metrology services. This role offers a mix of office-based work, where you'll handle customer support calls, and on-site visits to provide training and metrology services such as 3D scanning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide PolyWorks technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote sessions.
Provide PolyWorks software training to customers, which may require travel and overnight stays.
Provide in-house and on-site 3D scanning and metrology services
Collaborate with the development team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Document and track customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in our support system.
An alternative working pattern in terms of a 9 day fortnight, week 1 - Monday to Friday, week 2 –
Monday to Thursday with the Friday off. Working 75 hours during the 9 days (so a workday consists
of working 9 hours with 40 minute lunch break, eg 8.30am to 5.30pm).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong understanding of 3D metrology and measurement technologies.
Experience with PolyWorks software or similar metrology software platforms.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Proficiency in using remote support tools and technologies.
Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required for on-site customer
support and training.
