WORKSHOP MANAGER

PTS Services is a forward thinking and independently run business based in Aberdeen.

We specialise in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, providing comprehensive
services include design, manufacturing, specialist onsite services, flexible hose assembly, steel and stainless-steel fitting supply, hot oil flushing, instrumentation pipework, comprehensive equipment refurbishment and a diverse rental fleet.

Our mission is to deliver seamless, end-to-end support for all engineering requirements.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Workshop Manager to oversee our workshop operations on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hydraulic and mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various equipment.

This role is crucial in ensuring that all workshop activities run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Manage daily operations of the workshop, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
and to a high standard.

• Supervise and train workshop staff, fostering a collaborative and productive
environment.

• All activities around running a project from start to finish.

• Project planning

• Purchasing

• Specifying technical components

• Producing procedures

• HSEQ

• Overseeing builds

Requirements

• Proven hydraulic and mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a workshop
environment.

• Strong ability to read and interpret schematics for assembly and maintenance tasks.

• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Previous experience in a management role is advantageous but not essential.
