Superior Recruitment Group have a fantastic opportunity available at Hinkley Point C for a PDMS Designer. This is a Permanent position, and will be site based.
The role:
- Sets up and manages the model files to enable the designers to generate the deliverables with a maximum level of automation
- Install and manage PDMS bases after HO1 instruction to ensure data integrity, compliance with operating procedures and accuracy of data transfers.
- Install and manage PDMS catalogues after RD delivery to identify shortfalls and proactively ensure they are resolved to minimise designer downtime.
- Control of licensing to minimise costs and maximise efficiency.
- Control of issues relating to software and direct/manage resources to minimise downtime and reach a resolution in as short a period of time as possible.
- Support the client’s PDMS team to best facilitate updates/model transfers across multiple sites.
Requirements:
- Experience in piping design for nuclear power plant on PDMS
- Experience in pipe manufacturing
- Administration PDMS/ design/ execution design knowledge for an industrial project, in particular for nuclear piping systems
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D design software rules and requirements
