Job Description: Steel Structural Foreman

and onshore projects worldwide. This position is being offered on behalf of one of our
trusted clients.

The Role

• Coordinate and control the work of the dependent team based on structural Scope
of Work assigned

• Distribute the equipment and materials to allow the team to perform the assigned
activities

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that operators and all personnel belonging to the team strictly observe

applicable safety standards

• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project quality

requirements

• Analyse the drawings received from the work supervisor and give instructions

to the team in order to execute the works accordingly

• Coordinate and check the work carried out by the team, reporting any

difficulties to the works supervisor

• Organise all the means and equipment necessary to perform work. Check that

they comply with the applicable provisions, report any anomalies and

coordinate any corrective actions

• Liaise with the works supervisor in order to optimize the use of the equipment

and personnel

• Carry out the daily toolbox talking’s

• Ensure adherence to the planned time frame

• Ensure that any approved modification made during the execution of the

works is duly marked-up on the relevant drawings, in order to allow the issue

As Built documentation

• Provide the works supervisor with data on quantities produced and/or

installed for updating Progress Reports and quantities accounting

• Provide the work supervisor with data on manpower, equipment, tools and

material used

• Implement the permit to work system

• Liaise with other disciplines on ongoing operations

• Ensure the housekeeping of the work location

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in position minimum 10 years

• Experience with welding application 3-5 years and above

• Knowledge of Manual SMAW/FCAW welding process

• Knowledge of Cutting and trimming applications (cold and hot cutting)

• Knowledge of Oxyacetilen cutting, Plasma cutting application

• Knowledge of Milling, turner, lathe machine application

• Knowledge of Drilling application

• Work experience with the following

• Isometric,

• Bevel designs,

• Fittings

• Torquering

• Steel fabrication and erection

• Lifting and rigging operations

• Installation and assembly

• Work experience with the follwing materials

• Carbon steel flowline

• Clad

• Iconel 625/825

• Stainless steel 314L, 316L

• Experience proven on pipeline scope onshore and offshore

• Experience proven for Heavy Fabrication yards, Refinery, Power Plant

• Experience proven for shipyards, offshore Jacket Installation, Wind Farm Installation,

• Experience proven for Deck, Conductors, Pilling, Boat Landing installation

• REQUIREMENTS - Fitter

• Experience in position 10 to 15 years
