Skillpool Accountant - VR/29517

Skillpool Accountant required on a contract basis for 15 months based in Westhill. The ideal candidate will be available at short notice, possess experience in a similar role and have a level of accounting education. Competitive salary and benefits package available.

Reporting to the Skillpool Lead Planner, your role will involve:

• Daily support to the Skillpool Lead Planner and Crewing Manager in relation to Skillpool finances.
• Preparing detailed monthly management reports for assigned Skillpools.
• Variance analysis of actuals and forecasts.
• Identifying and reporting variances/areas of concern to budget holder.
• Uploading and reviewing forecast results into financial consolidation system.
• Preparing annual budget and calculation of white book rates (WBR) for assigned Skillpools.
• Monthly reconciliation of offshore travel costs within the Onboard Tracker system, liaising with relevant parties both internal and external to resolve any queries identified.
• Validating assigned third party costs, ensuring all internal processes and procedures have been followed.
• Assisting the Finance Team to ensure compliance with the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
• Coordinating the quarterly Control Assessment preparation for offshore resources.
• Other ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
