Service Centre & Operations Manager

Flare are looking to recruit a Service Centre & Operations Manager. Duties will include:

  • Responsible for the operational management and optimisation of service delivery and personnel activity across the business operations.
  • Continuously monitor and develop efficiency, productivity, quality focus, and personnel performance as well as fixed costs.
  • This role is to be able always to fulfil internal and external customer and business requirements, to improve and maintain the motivation and skills of the employees and develop teamwork spirit within the operations team(s) and to actively research and drive business opportunities within scope of strategy.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven operational experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills and ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Able to work independently and make effective decisions.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage priorities to meet client requirements with fluctuating timelines and tight time constraints.
  • Proven ability to articulate and understand technical language.
  • Ability to investigate and evaluate any job difficulties and/or failures to diagnose faulty operations.
  • Skilled in the interpretation of engineering drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Office (incl. SharePoint).
  • Exceptional computer skills including expert Excel, Adobe and data management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience coaching/ mentoring and motivating a team while constantly driving safety/quality improvements.
  • 5+ years in a similar role.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in technical area.
  • Valid UK Driver’s licence
  • Residensce of and eligible to work in the UK.
