Senior Project Engineer
Superior Recruitment Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join their large client in Aberdeen.
The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for managing engineering deliverables for energy projects, coordinating between technical teams and ensuring project milestones are met within budget, schedule, and safety guidelines.
Key Duties
• Lead the development and execution of detailed project plans and engineering solutions.
• Oversee and coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines.
• Ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to communicate project objectives and progress.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure alignment with schedules and budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential project issues.
• Facilitate design reviews, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation of engineering activities, including as-built drawings and technical reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in engineering processes.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Work Experience
• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Essential: Substantial experience in project engineering within the energy sector.
• Desirable: Chartered Engineer status or relevant certifications.
Job Specific Knowledge (Essential)
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, safety standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficient in project management tools and engineering design software.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary project coordination and execution.
