Sales Manager – Energy & Data (Battery Storage Units & Modular Data Centers)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – Energy & Data to lead our business development and sales initiatives across Europe and the United Kingdom. This role will focus exclusively on Battery Storage Units and Modular Data Centers, with the primary goal of driving revenue, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the energy and data infrastructure sectors.
This is a remote position, open to candidates based anywhere in Europe or the UK, provided they bring relevant industry experience and a strong network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead sales strategy and execution for Battery Storage Units and Modular Data Centers across Europe and the UK.
• Identify, target, and develop relationships with key clients in the renewable energy, utilities, telecommunications, and data center sectors.
• Drive end-to-end business development activities, including prospecting, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and deal closing.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and marketing teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
• Stay abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments affecting the energy storage and data infrastructure sectors.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
• Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and sales insights to senior management.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in the energy storage, modular construction, or data center infrastructure sectors.
• Demonstrated success in managing long sales cycles and closing high-value deals across Europe and/or the UK.
• Strong understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and modular data centers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote working environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and the UK as needed.
