Project Engineer
Superior Recruitment Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their large client in Aberdeen.
The Project Engineer is responsible for delivering technical engineering solutions to support the planning, execution, and completion of projects ensuring that projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Duties
• Assist in the preparation of project plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Support the development of engineering designs and solutions that comply with project requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the construction and engineering teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to communicate project status and requirements.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety standards during project execution.
• Assist in risk identification, mitigation strategies, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports and engineering records.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, etc.).
• Essential: Experience in project engineering or a related role within the energy sector.
• Desirable: Certification in project management or relevant engineering discipline.
Job Specific Knowledge (Essential)
• Familiarity with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Experience with project management software and engineering design tools.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
