Superior Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Piping Engineer on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. This is a full time permanent role.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for any piping engineering activities of studies, and modification projects (RFM), in conjunction with piping designers, other discipline engineers, project management and construction
Maintain relationships with the Client Technical Authorities and asset engineers to ensure engineering is carried out in accordance with the Client’s specifications and requirements
Carry out engineering analysis of piping systems as required
Utilise and control external consultants or software providers where specialist expertise or software not available in PBS is required
Reporting of progress to the PVV&S Lead engineer and project management
Responsible for correctness of piping engineering content within discipline deliverable and procurement activities. Ensure all piping items are correctly specified and supplied
Contribute to inventive, cost effective and safe engineering solutions
Ensure project quality assurance objectives are met
Preparation of discipline engineering manhour estimates, and review of estimates developed by external parties
Any other duties as required by PVV&S Lead Engineer
Facilitating design reviews and constructability review.

Qualifications / Experience required:

Professional Experience (years): 10 years
Experience in similar position (years): 5-7 years
Level / Diploma: Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Honours or above), Professional/Chartered Engineer (preferred)
Training / Certification: Offshore Certified (BOSIET / FUET etc) preferred
