WSG Energy Services are looking for an experienced Piping Construction Lead to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of piping installations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:-

The Piping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating piping and mechanical construction activities throughout the project, ensuring scopes are completed safely, in line with site specifications, directives and regulations and are aligned with the project program.
They are also responsible for communicating current / forecasted activities and any deviations to scope with the Project Management Team and other disciplines leads to prevent SIMOPS and mitigate program growth.

Deliverables:

Overall responsibility for piping related work and activities undertaken by subcontractor construction personnel
Ensuring that all subcontractor personnel have all necessary resources to execute their work in a safe, high quality and efficient manner
Support HSSE personnel and management in the protection of workers from hazards and risks during the execution of their work and to ensure all WSG, Project and Company HSSE processes, procedures and requirements are implemented at the workface
Support QA/QC personnel and management to ensure that high quality, fully compliant and reliable services are delivered to the Company
Provide support and guidance to subcontractor personnel in the execution of their duties
Support and update all planning and other support departments by providing timely and accurate status updates
Coordinate deliveries and tracking of materials with procurement and or material control personnel
Ensure that all subcontractor vehicles, equipment, and plant is available, inspected and maintained in good operational condition
Provide input/support to project status reports and updates
Ensure efficient and effective allocation of personnel, materials and equipment at all times in support of cost-effective delivery

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience: Minimum 15 years in piping construction, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or heavy industrial projects.
Education: Relevant technical diploma, engineering degree, or equivalent industry experience.
Certifications: Valid safety certifications (e.g., CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, OSHA, or equivalent) preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, welding processes, isometrics, P&IDs, and industry codes (ASME, API, etc.).
Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
