Operations and Training Services Manager

Job purpose

The Operations and Training Services Manager will focus on managing and growing the delivery of training services for the EMEA region. This includes oversight of day-to-day training delivery from our EMEA training locations in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands and Aberdeen, UK and collaborate with business development, marketing and sales teams and sell training services to customers in the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

· Operations management: Manage and oversee the execution of training services from order to invoice.

· Client engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver customised training solutions and help translate this into (customised) proposals and service offerings.

· Business development: Support the business development and marketing and sales teams and help drive the growth of the Well Academy business globally. Assist with developing Well Academy business plans and global Well Academy growth/ investment plans.

· Quality and compliance (QHSE): Maintain and grow the global pool of trainers and consultants to support service delivery. Manage the competence development and succession planning of the global instructor pool.

Qualifications and experience

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or business management

Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in operation related roles, preferably in a service-oriented industry.

Commercial competencies: Proven track record in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and managing commercial agreements.

Technical: Candidates with drilling & wells services and operations affinity will be preferred.
