Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time
As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will:
- Support the coordination and monitoring of all marketing and communication initiatives for PD&MS Group and its subsidiary companies, in line with ongoing business requirements.
External Marketing and Communications
- Maintain external communications strategies, channels, opportunities, media contacts and industry bodies ensuring our customers, the industry and wider community are well informed and engaged with the organisation.
- Arrange and develop the delivery of filming and photography sessions to support materials including proposals, marketing, promotional and workforce engagement videos and imagery
- Develop and maintain an annual industry awards plan including writing and submitting nominations
- Generate and implement Social Media activities in alignment with management approvals, and all other digital marketing initiatives
- Input into Group Websites maintenance and development
- Raising brand awareness of PD&MS Group and its subsidiary companies
- Develop close working relationships with all organisational business units, to maximise understanding of customer requirements and marketing support required
- Develop and maintain PD&MS Group suite of marketing materials
- Manage the planning, scheduling, implementation and evaluation of marketing campaigns using a variety of platforms
- Manage events as required by Business Development and Project Groups
- Develop, maintain and implement an annual forward features plan including sourcing targeted industry media and local/national trade media, working with various departments to develop relevant editorials
- Develop external press release and liaise with media outlets to optimise stories and reach
Internal Marketing and Communications
Implement effective plans for internal engagement within PD&MS Group and its subsidiary companies. This will include:
- Input into PD&MS Group bids, tenders and case studies as required
- Develop and co-ordinate employee communications, in line with local and regional requirements
- Develop, and posting of news articles, sharing of materials, employee engagement campaigns and events calendars
- Support the delivery of staff engagement activities including town halls, corporate social responsibility initiatives, QHSE campaigns and management meetings
- Support the development and maintenance of internal communications channels, ensuring our people are well informed and engaged with the organisation
- Proactively search for new communication tools and methods, ensuring the highest standards of engagement are applied to all levels of the organisation.
- Promote a dynamic understanding of PD&MS Group profile, services and innovations internally.
Networking and Relationship management
- Build and maintain your own network of internal and external stakeholders that support and enrich the relationship PD&MS Group has with other organisations, wider industries and the media
Other
- Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner
- Adherence to the company integrated management system
- Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
- Demonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by example
- Ensure unsafe activities are challenged
- Adherence to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties
- Demonstrate and promote PD&MS values and lead by example
- Ensure direct report performance reviews are carried out within the required timescales (where applicable)
