Learning & Development Advisor - VR/30779

We're looking for an experienced Learning & Development Advisor to drive people development initiatives, supporting business growth and employee progression. Based in Aberdeen, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and HR Teams to identify and nurture talent, ensuring career pathways and training programmes align with business objectives.

Main duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Support Talent Growth – Helping to develop and retain existing talent as well as talent acquired through graduate and trainee schemes.
• Create and Maintain People Development Initiatives – including onboarding, coaching, mentoring and succession and talent acquisition.
• Collaborate with Leadership – Influencing key stakeholders to ensure development plans are in place and successfully executed.
• Monitor and Enhance Learning Initiatives – Tracking progress, providing mentorship, and continuously improve training solutions.
• Stay Ahead of Trends – Bringing in new learning technologies and methods that add value to the business.
• Build Strong Relationships – Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance employee development.

Applicants to this role require:

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training and development initiatives.
• A background in learning and development or people management (experience or qualification).
• Confident in presenting to groups, including senior leadership.
• Strong communication, analytical, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Membership of a recognised professional body, assessment or verifier qualifications, or experience with psychometric assessment tools (desirable).
