As Electronic Technician, you will focus on the assembly and testing of finished products, the maintenance of your work area & the equipment used therein. Working within the Production Department team, you will ensure that work is carried out to the company quality standards and on time.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- To build finished products and electronic sub-assemblies to the build time set.
- Soldering and/or assembly of electrical assemblies and components.
- To liaise with the relevant departments once products have been manufactured and are ready for final inspection.
- To be responsible for delivering your set objectives & to report progress on the delivery of these as agreed with your supervisor.
- To ensure that build times are updated in ERP System relative to the defined build routing as the equipment is being built.
- To maintain the upkeep of HSEQ standards in the workshops & the continual improvement of them.
- To identify and report incorrect information found in build notes to your supervisor.
- Follow technical drawings, assembly instructions and parts list to manufacture assemblies in line with customer expectations.
- To raise material requisitions as required.

- Previous experience of Electronic or Mechanical Assembly.
- Electronic circuit fault finding.
- Soldering surface mount components.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to understand manufacturing drawings/schematics and identify any incorrect or missing information.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively across all manufacturing teams.
- Organised, with an ability to prioritise workload during periods of high volume, as well as conflicting and changing priorities.
- A collaborative flexible team player who can also work independently when required.
