HR Advisor - VR/30920

Key role within an excellent HR function. This Aberdeen-based contract assignment will initially run until the end of 2025 with likely extensions thereafter. Focusing on employee relations, suitable applicants will be technically-strong HR professionals with (near-)immediate availability and UK employment legislation expertise.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist advice to management and employees on employee relations issues.
  • Acting as a point of contact for employee queries regarding policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing and updating existing employee relations policies/procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices.
  • Developing new policies as needed, ensuring alignment with company values.
  • Collaborating with network locally and globally as needed to build awareness of policies and pending legislation.
  • Keeping abreast of any changes or developments in UK employment law and update UK PO network.
  • Other ad-hoc projects or tasks as needed.

Applicants to this role require:

  • Associate CIPD membership, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar operationally-focused HR Generalist position.
  • Offshore industry experience (desirable).
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

Additional Information:

  • Modern office setting with parking and excellent onsite facilities.
  • Hybrid working is available (up to 2 days per week WFH) after an initial settling-in period.
  • 37.5hrs per week, with consideration given to part-time applicants (0.8 FTE).
