Key role within an excellent HR function. This Aberdeen-based contract assignment will initially run until the end of 2025 with likely extensions thereafter. Focusing on employee relations, suitable applicants will be technically-strong HR professionals with (near-)immediate availability and UK employment legislation expertise.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Providing specialist advice to management and employees on employee relations issues.
- Acting as a point of contact for employee queries regarding policies and procedures.
- Reviewing and updating existing employee relations policies/procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices.
- Developing new policies as needed, ensuring alignment with company values.
- Collaborating with network locally and globally as needed to build awareness of policies and pending legislation.
- Keeping abreast of any changes or developments in UK employment law and update UK PO network.
- Other ad-hoc projects or tasks as needed.
Applicants to this role require:
- Associate CIPD membership, or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar operationally-focused HR Generalist position.
- Offshore industry experience (desirable).
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
