Salary – £45,000.00 per anum

Overview:

The business operates a wide range of plant and equipment, both old and new will need to be worked on

and maintained, these range from mechanical power presses to slab lasers, welding equipment, conveyor

lines, process ovens, washes and hoists and lifting tables. Repairs to hand grinders and other small hand

tools will also be required.

You will be responsible for two sites here in the Northeast of England, head office and main plant at Newton

Aycliffe 120,000 square feet (which will be your base) and a smaller facility 40,000 square feet that we

operate at Washington Tyne & Wear.

A staff of four maintenance engineers will be under your control and responsibility.

Skills and requirements:

• All candidates must be time served maintenance technicians.

• With at least 5 years’ experience.

• Have experience with electrical systems

• Have experience with hydraulic systems

• Have experience with pneumatic systems

• Will be required to work back on any breakdowns to ensure plant and equipment is kept in
serviceable condition so as to maintain production output.

• Will be working with an existing team of technicians under the guidance of the Maintenance
Manager or be working in the current role of Maintenance Manager.

Education and training :

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Electrical Engineering Qualification

• Time served Electrically based apprenticeship

Remuneration:

• Salary £45,000.00

Ideally, the potential candidates should be available to work in the Cramlington office at least 3

days per week. If this is not feasible, a kick-off visit should be arranged, with regular Teams

meetings to check the progress of the engineering.
