Flare are looking to recruit a Fire Safety Technician. Duties will include:
- Support all workshop/yard/marine/renewables operations, working with all relevant departments as required in providing technical advice and support.
- Support and improve the service delivery and personnel activity across the business operations.
- To provide assistance with instruction, support, and advice to Technicians, Assistant Technicians, Trainee Assistant Technicians, and their equipment as well as for the professional administration of Company Standard Work Procedures.
- Liaise with the Technical Manager & Senior Fire Safety Technician to ensure that the necessary resources and infrastructure are made available to achieve this.

- Proven ability to articulate and understand technical language.
- Ability to investigate and evaluate any job difficulties and/or failures to diagnose faulty operations.
- Skilled in the interpretation of engineering drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Office (incl. SharePoint).
- Exceptional computer skills including expert Excel, Adobe and data management skills.
- Strong leadership skills and experience coaching/ mentoring and motivating a team while constantly driving safety/quality improvements.
- 5+ years in a similar role, shall have a minimum 2 years’ experience as a Fire Safety Technician.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in technical area.
- Valid UK Driver’s licence
