Estimator - VR/29536

Chance to join a company who are renowned for its proven track record in managing and delivering large complex projects within marine construction and operations. As Estimator you will prepare accurate cost and price estimates amongst other deliverables for the commercial function.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, duties will include:

• Presenting estimates to the Senior Management Team.
• Evaluating and analysing key commercial aspects essential for a successful bid.
• Conducting thorough analysis of competitors and market dynamics to inform bid strategy.
• Collaborating closely with various departments such as Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Asset Management to ensure accurate costing inputs.
• Comparing cost estimates with historical benchmarks and assessing any deviations.
• Identifying and quantifying cost uncertainties and associated risks.
• Participating in client clarification meetings and contributing to commercial discussions and decisions.
• Enhancing and adhering to procedures to uphold the quality and standards of estimating.
• Implementing and maintaining experience transfer processes between the projects and the Commercial Department.
• Handling costing and pricing of bids.
• Ensuring adherence to procedures necessary for maintaining the quality and standards of the bids.

The ideal applicant will have a can-do attitude, enjoy problem solving and enjoy challenging and improving the status quo. You should have relevant work experience in the Subsea Oil and Gas Industry.
