Document Controller - VR/29510

Joining subsea offshore company as Document Controller, you will be supporting a busy project team with the opportunity to get involved with other administrative duties. This role would be ideal for an individual who holds a background within Document Control, a real team player who is keen to get stuck in and implement own ideas for best practice.

 

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Managing, organising and controlling all company documents – ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Managing the upkeep and housekeeping of project files and folders by scanning, verifying and storing documents and archiving.
  • Upkeeping / control of internal and external Rolling Action Lists (RALs).
  • Developing templates for common document types and provide guidance on document control processes.
  • Providing assistance with filing, retrieving and tracking documents.
  • Establishing and maintaining record retention timelines.
  • Assisting with finance team if required, including invoice processing etc.
  • Assisting with managing the project/operations schedule’s, identifying the critical path issues and developing mitigation actions to ensure on-time delivery of work.
  • Providing effective administrative support across all areas of the Operations department.

Applicants to this role require

  • Previous document control experience essential.
  • Previous experience reviewing technical documents is beneficial.
  • Ability to deliver a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to liaise with multi discipline project teams and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Be a self-motivator.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility and adaptability within role to meet the demands of a changing project and organisational needs.
