This role involves managing high-volume accounts, conducting credit checks, resolving discrepancies, and supporting AR monitoring to improve cash flow. - Mitigating risk through proactive, efficient credit management strategies.
- Providing recommendations for customer credit limits and assess sales reserves/bad debt provisions.
- Engaging customers through calls, emails, and other approved methods to secure timely payments.
- Preparing and distributing account statements.
- Collaborating closely with Functional Managers, Project Managers, and Sales and Account Managers to streamline collections, aligning with company goals and fostering strong internal and external relationships.
- Delivering high-quality customer service on credit and collection issues, addressing daily credit requests, refund information, and resolving issues like unapplied cash, customer discrepancies, and short payments.
- Escalating delinquency trends to supervisors in line with company policy.
- Identifying, mitigating, or escalating issues contributing to account delinquencies.
- Assisting in compiling information on customer liquidation and bankruptcy cases.
- Supporting global initiatives to improve and automate the collections process through technology.
- Coordinating with the Billing Team on invoicing and unbilled revenue to ensure prompt billing.
- Completing additional tasks to support the credit and collections function.
