Cost Controller - VR/29791

Cost Controller required for 12 months maternity cover based in Westhill. Previous cost control experience is essential as well as a background within the oil and gas industry. Oracle experience is beneficial, however other ERP system experience will suffice.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Establishing the first project budget/forecast based on handover bid from Sales Department.
• Updating changes to the forecast based on inputs from project management and other project team members as applicable.
• Responsible for monthly Project Management Report.
• Preparing monthly invoices to client and following up works.
• Following up reimbursable costs.
• Evaluating the economic impact of changes/variations in scope of work.
• Performing economical analysis, forecasts, deviations reports etc.
• Increasing other Departments’ awareness of the Cost Control function.
• Reviewing commitments.
• Assisting procurement on invoices from subcontractors/suppliers.
• Developing reporting requirements.
• Manpower forecasting.
• Vessel forecasting.
• Change Control (budget transfer/VO and changes to forecast).
• Cost sensitivities analysis.
