We are looking to speak with Part-Time Bookkeepers for a practice firm based in the city centre. Ideal candidates have accounting software experience, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail. This role is for 21-25 hours per week.
The key responsibilities of the Bookkeeper are:
- Providing a high level of customer care to clients.
- Assist with the preparation of clients’ book-keeping and VAT returns.
- Use of various accounting software packages, including QuickBooks, Sage and Xero.
- Adhering to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Acting as a support to other team members to share expert knowledge and give direction where necessary.
- Working as an effective team member, involving self and others to achieve business goals.
- Ensuring continuous professional self-development.
- Identifying training needs, planning and co-ordinating this with Line Manager.
- Promoting the practice in order to attract new business, building good client relations and contributing to the company’s continuous development.
