The Role

Responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical and electrical equipment. This role ensures that all machinery, including engines, generators, pumps, and auxiliary systems, are running efficiently and safely to support continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the proper functioning of all technical systems and machinery on board, including performing routine maintenance and repairs.
• Overseeing the engine room operations, including maintaining a safe watch, and managing fuel and ballast operations.
• Ensuring all operations are conducted safely and in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• CoC - 2nd Engineer (III/2) – STCW
• Medical Offshore (OGUK or Equivalent)
• Medical Seafarer
• OPITO Approved BOSIET with EBS
• IADC Rig Pass
• STCW Advanced Fire Fighting
• STCW Basic Training (Personal Survival Techniques & Fire Prevention/ Fire Fighting)
• STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (Other than Fast Rescue Boats)
• STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats
• STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness A-VI/6-1
• Indian nationals require PCC clearance
• Experience in Semi-Submersible rigs and/or Drillships required
