This role ensures vehicles and plant equipment are safe and operational
๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical faults on HGVs
Maintain vehicles to MOT standards and update records
Service and repair plant machinery to industrial standards
Support the Transport Manager and maintain a safe, clean workshop
Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures
Work MondayโFriday (38 hrs/week) with paid overtime and weekend call-outs
๐๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐:
Engineering background in Industrial Services, Heavy Plant, HGV, or Transport
๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ก๐๐ฏ๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and high-pressure water jetting
Knowledge of transport/plant codes of practice
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
