Our Oil & Gas Client, have a fantastic new job opening for an experienced Equipment Maintenance Advisor to work on a Temporary Agency Worker contract role in Aberdeen. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:-
Applicants must have a robust and proven track record working directly for Oil & Gas Operating Companies within the energy sector.
Provide technical support, addressing maintenance and engineering issues on mechanical systems, and coordinate work in line with maintenance strategies to identify facilities improvements to improve safety, reliability and reduce costs.
Providing support to the offshore operations team when required relating to mechanical systems operability, isolation requirements and strategy, troubleshooting etc. Set up and administer operational, maintenance and technical support contracts (OEM vendors and speciality contractors).
Responsible for the identification and documenting of performance standard non-compliances based on site reports and identification of actions to mitigate and resolve.
Providing hands on engineering support to troubleshoot or optimise asset performance.

The successful incumbent will have completed a trade apprenticeship in mechanical discipline.
Candidates must have good working knowledge of onshore / offshore oil & gas related processes, systems and equipment.
Applicants will be proficient in using computerised maintenance management systems.
This is a predominantly onshore role, however offshore travel will be required to meet the needs of the business, therefore all industry competency certification (BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL and MIST) must be valid.
